Deadstick LandingIn this video, the flight teacher intentionally shuts down the planes engine while over the airport. This gives the student "actual" emergency landing practice and confidence to know that the plane still flies well without power. Just keep the nose down on a 6000 foot runway, the goal is to touchdown at the 4000 feet remaining mark.
