The Department of Electronic Engineering University of California has developed a robot that can fold the clothes with the same precision as a housewife. The extraordinary experiment lies in the ability of the automaton to recognise and manipulate deformable objects quot;whose form is notquot; predictable. quot; A quality which is scarce among modern robots.
