RAW: Man scales, dangles from Toledo's High Level Bridge

TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - A man brought traffic to a standstill and had rescue crews on high alert Saturday around 5 p.m.. The man was swinging from overhead cables on the High Level Bridge,which is officially known as the Anthony Wayne Suspension Bridge, across the Maumee River. Police say a man climbed onto the suspension cables on the bridge and made it all the way to the top. He nearly fell several times, but rescuers were able to get him back to the road deck safely. No word on why this man decided to climb the bridge and make such a dangerous journey.
