Bees Attack Crews at Traffic Accident

Turkish rescue workers trying to get to victims of a traffic accident on Monday were attacked by an angry mob - of bees. A van stacked with beehives was involved in the crash, which killed one person. Rescuers and other accident victims were then swarmed by the bees - forcing 20 people to the hospital for treatment. Video footage showed men in beekeeping clothing placing an injured man on a stretcher amid a swarm of bees. Emergency crews sprayed water at the swarm and then tried to kill the bees with insecticide.
