Customs Border Protection CBP Officer Shoots Kills Man at U.S. Mexico border

A U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officer shot and killed a man crossing into the U.S. from Mexico Wednesday, officials said. The shooting happened around midnight at the Calexico West Port of Entry south of El Centro, California. A man on a bike was in one of the vehicle lanes when he got off the bike and approached the officer, according to the CBP.
