Beware! Dangerous Ford Transit door compartment/pocket destroys Iphone6

"I was driving a rented Ford Transit van and noticed a conveniently sized and placed door compartment that could hold my iPhone 6. There is nothing intuitive that suggests placing an item that extends above the compartment will get *destroyed* if you close the door. I didn't know that the top of the compartment became covered as recessed into part of the dashboard. Of course, I quickly discovered this *after* I shut the door. My iPhone 6 was a victim of bad design."
