Dashcam Captures Deadly Chain Reaction Crash

Time and date is incorrect. Dashcam video captures the scene after last week's deadly chain reaction crash involving 193 vehicles on I-94 in Michigan. Michigan State Police have released a video taken from a semi-truck that was traveling on eastbound I-94 during Friday's deadly pile-up near Galesburg. The video shows the driver slowing to a stop in time to avoid the pileup, and another semi driver who was unable to do so. The video ends with a view of the fire. A reconstruction investigation of the multiple-vehicle accident is under way at Michigan State Police Fifth District Headquarters in Paw Paw. The pile-ups on the eastbound and westbound stretches of I-94, directly across the median from each other and occurring within minutes of each other, will be treated as separate crash scenes, said 1st Lt. Dale Hinz of MSP.
