Hovering F-35b

By definition, hover is the act of remaining in one place in the air. Similar to a helicopter flying stationary just above the ground before landing, the F-35B short takeoff/vertical landing (STOVL) variant now brings the ability to hover in the form a supersonic, stealthy fighter jet.
