Super Carrier - Flight Deck Launch & Landing

Planes launch and land aboard the super carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75), the 8th Nimitz class aircraft carrier of the U.S. Navy. The Truman is 1092 feet in length, displaces 116,400 tons, and carries approximately 90 aircraft. Propulsion of the Truman is provided by two Westinghouse A4W nuclear reactors, four steam turbines, and four shafts - to give the ship a top speed in excess of 30 knots or 35 mph. Flight operations filmed on 11/13/2013 somewhere in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility... Persian Gulf, Red Sea, Arabian Sea, and parts of the Indian Ocean.
