Stowaway found in ferry's engine after Mediterranean crossing

Police footage has captured the moment a stowaway was discovered hidden inside the engine housing of a ferry travelling from Morocco to southern Spain. The man, wearing a wetsuit, had clung to the left turbine of the ferry for the 35-minute journey across the Strait of Gibraltar between Tangier and the port of Tarifa, near Cadiz. -The 20-year-old, who was carrying a bag of belongings tied to his arm, was arrested by officers from the National Police at around 11am on Wednesday. He was then taken to an immigration detention centre.
