Wrong-way driver on NYS Thruway A Spring Valley man who had been missing for several hours was found Monday morning driving the wrong way on the New York State Thruway. Joseph Dorcerly, 80, was spotted driving northbound on the Thruway in the southbound lane for a stretch of eight miles near Tuxedo. Officials say a state trooper saw Dorcerly and was able to get him to stop. There were no injuries. Dorcerly is being examined at Good Samaritan Hospital.
