Glow in the Dark PigsChinese scientists created pigs that are capable of glowing in the dark as part of a laboratory experiment. The pigs glow because of the genes transferred to them from jellyfish. The pig embryos were injected with plasmids containing fluorescent protein extracted from jellyfish DNA. The technique was invented in order to develop cheaper drugs for humans.
