Ambulance Rushing to Emergency Smashes Into SUV at Intersection, Causes Worse Emergency

Cameras mounted on a Leon County EMS ambulance capture the moment it smashed into a Buick SUV on 09/05/13 while responding to an emergency. The accident caused severe injuries to a female passenger in the Buick including collapsed lungs, a ruptured bladder, and a broken pelvis. Another passenger in the Buick also suffered a broken hand. The paramedic driving the ambulance was suspended for three days without pay and ordered to take a driver's safety course.
