"BACK IT UP" Trash Tasering Security Guard Goes To Jail After A Fight Inside The Mall

ATLANTA - A Taser-wielding Atlanta mall cop who gained worldwide fame attention for his strong-armed style has been arrested after a dispute, according to police. Atlanta police say that Darien Long was arrested on Thursday after allegedly tackling a Metro Mall occupant. Long claimed that the victim had been previously warned not to return to the mall, according to Officer John Chafee of the Atlanta Police Department. However, police said that Long could not produce anything to back up his claim. Authorities said that video from the mall showed Long run up to the side of the victim and tackle him to the ground. Lon became known internationally after videos of him Tasing people he deemed out of control went viral on the internet. Police say Long is charged with battery and was transported to Fulton County Jail.
